Booklets by BOGRAMA, Herzog+Heymann and MBO
Labelexpo is this year‘s European highlight of the label and package printing industry. The show will take place from 29th September till 2nd October in Brussels. BOGRAMA, Herzog+Heymann and MBO will be exhibiting at this trade show with a combined booth (9A16) for the first time. Under the heading COMPETENCE3 the three companies are pooling their expertise and exhibiting together three new production lines.
Rotary die-cut, spine-glued booklets of 24 pages will be produced on the booklet line. The entire production will be carried out inline – from unwinding the printed paper roll, to cutting the sheets, die-cutting, through to gluing and folding the booklets. Thanks to the inline production, setup and production times can be minimized. The personnel requirement is also low and there is no need for temporary storage of semi-finished products on the machine.
This kind of booklets are subsequently laminated with self-adhesive film and applied on bottles, cans and similar packaging. The pull-tab makes it easier for the end customer to open the booklet. The partners delfortgroup (paper), Océ, Ricoh and Xeikon (print) and Printum (laminating) support this project.
Alongside the booklet line, the partners BOGRAMA, Herzog+Heymann and MBO will be exhibiting two further lines. On one system, various labels will be die-cut, counted and delivered. A second system will be producing folding boxes and simultaneously adding an insert.
