BOGRAMA will present a high-performance inline solution for die-cutting a wide range of products from digitally printed sheets, followed by efficient shingling, spreading and delivery, at the Postpress Alliance stand.
The setup features the BSR 550 Servo rotary die-cutter and the SAB 600 S shingling and spreading delivery system.
Precise die-cutting – even with varying print positions
The BSR 550 Servo delivers high die-cutting quality, short makeready times and stable production. To maintain consistent die-cutting accuracy on digitally printed sheets, the machine is equipped with a Print Mark Reader and Dynamic Side Alignment. These correct deviations in the printed image in the running and lateral directions. This automatically aligns the sheet with the die-cutting position and helps reduce waste.
Shingle, spread and deliver in an orderly layout
The SAB 600 S takes over the die-cut products. It combines shingling and spreading in a continuous inline process. The individual product streams are formed cleanly, spread and delivered in an orderly layout on the delivery table.
Especially in multiple-up layouts with products of different sizes and contours, the clear separation of the product streams creates an orderly delivery and makes the products easier to pick up during production.
With the BSR 550 Servo and SAB 600 S, BOGRAMA demonstrates in Lucerne how automatic register correction, high die-cutting quality and efficient product handling can be combined in a continuous inline process – for high process reliability, reduced waste and cost-effective print finishing.
