Drupa 2016, a great success for BOGRAMA

BOGRAMA's competency is die-cutting

BOGRAMA AG Turbenthal (Switzerland), one of the market leaders in a niche area of die-cutting machine engineering, presented at Drupa new customer-oriented total solutions which meet the high quality- and economic performance requirements in label- and packaging printing, job printing and digital printing.

BOGRAMA's Drupa presence under the heading "Simply die-cutting." may be considered a great success. This was confirmed by a consistently positive feedback and many customer-specific discussions.

Also for this drupa, BOGRAMA has retained on its proven exhibition concept. Again three production lines were presented, so the visitors were able to gain a first hand impression of the functionality of the machines and their numerous applications. Especially the new rotary die-cutter BSR 550 basic and the automated sorting- and packaging solution "RoboStack" were met with great interest.

Short setup times, simple operation; that’s the new BSR 550 basic

At drupa the new rotary die-cutter BSR 550 basic was in continuous operation to show the trade visitors how various jobs can be die-cut with a simple change of tool.

The compact and attractively priced BSR 550 basic is designed for users who want to produce short and medium print runs economically and efficiently. The offline system is suitable for die-cutting, kiss-cutting, creasing, perforating and embossing a wide range of products such as packaging, labels, mailings, presentation folders etc. from both offset- and digital printing. To change the individual jobs took usually just 10 minutes in spite of the temporary overcrowding around Patricia Sciessere who operated the machine during the show.

RoboStack, die-cutting, counting and banderoling of different labels

Another highlight on the BOGRAMA booth was the RoboStack line, a joint project of BOGRAMA and ATS-Tanner (Switzerland), the renowned banderoling specialists, well-known for their individual mechanical engineering. Shown was an inline solution for rotary die-cutting labels in multiple-ups, including automatic gripping and subsequent banderoling.

BSR 550 Servo and the Stamina Packaging-line

BOGRAMA's exhibition program was completed by the two-up production of 4-page flyers and the Packaging-line Stamina, a joint project with Herzog + Heymann, which was shown at the booth of MBO.
